Our camp will be centered around the 30-foot Blyss Dome and interior fiber optic light show, with hundreds of points of light glowing in thousands of ever-changing colors. Laying mesmerized beneath these lights on soft cushions and plush carpets with great chill music plaing in the background, one can imagine being inside his own brain, surrounded by pulsing neural network.
Improvements: This year's dome will be even more comforable than last year's, in that we will make a new opaque exterior cloth dome cover and build a U-Shaped entrance corridor. These two additions should reduce light- and dust-pollution to almost zero.
The shiny silver exterior of the dome will be topped with a new, stupa-like structure that incorporates the "psych" theme. The rectangular bottom of the stupa (immediately above the dome) will bear painted buddha eyes, nose, and a third-eye. On top, instead of the traditional pyramid, there will be more than a hundred long helium inflated pink balolons projecting outward and upward. The pink ballons will not only allude to our pink lotus and pink planet rings of prior years, but also to the brillant idea-balloons that constantly emerge from our brains.
Our PSYCHOaSIS will be surrounded by plam trees and a meditative "sand scultping" garden. Small rakes, trowels, sticks, and other implements will be provided, so that campers can create ephemeral sculptures in playa sand.
We will reuse our beautiful fiber optic star field for the interior of the dome.
